Are you are avoiding the crippling emotions found in Dystopia's on purpose?
Emotions ought to be like flowing water or electricity by analogy. I think they are related to physiology, maybe even states of well being and therefore could be medically manipulated but considering the ethics involved in doing that aghr!
I think you have enough threads for a book there.
Thank you! I am not avoiding Dystopia, so much as trying to focus on Utopia. One thing I think interesting, and it's not an original thought, is that we find it far harder to think Utopia than Dystopia, now. But in biomedicine the Utopian impulse remains strong. That's my topic.
